When Marybeth envisioned this clan mother, she imagined her as a traditional dancer. Her shawl moves and dances with her as she expresses her own individuality. The petroglyph (turtle) reminds us that we all live on turtle island. Within the turtle are the sacred colours which represent the four directions and a reminder that we are all brothers and sisters.
